Cam 101 longLearn the basics of using the dials and buttons on your digital camera to take great photos.

Bought a fancy DSLR or mirrorless camera but are still wondering what all those dials and gadgets are for? Then this introductory course is for you. In this short two hour workshop we’ll spend time on the basics of how to take a perfectly exposed photo where YOU take full control of your camera and stop it guessing what you want. We’ll save some time at the end to practice some of what we’ve covered so you’ll come away with a deeper understanding of your camera’s abilities, plus one or two perfectly exposed shots to prove it!

We’ll cover the exposure triangle (aperture, shutter speed, and ISO), white balance, f-stops, histogram’s and lens aperture’s so you’ll feel more confident in getting the most out of your camera.

Armed with the perfect shot, you can then take that to our introductory Adobe editing workshop to learn how to setup and use Lightroom and Photoshop to save and edit your shot for the perfect picture.
